What are the trail races at this year's festival?
At this year's festival you'll pick one of three trail races to take part in. There's a short (5km), medium (11km) or long distance (22km) race to choose from. These are fully marked, fully timed professionally organised trail races and include quality aid stations, a finishers medal, finish line beer & nutrition, secure bag drop area, huge prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, free race photography & online results.
What are the hiking challenges all about?
Running alongside the trail races, and setting off at the same time & place, this year we are introducing two hiking challenges. These are fully marked, fully supported routes, with refreshment stations on the way around, and finishers medals, which start and finish at the festival site. You'll hike either 5km or 11km around The Chiltern Hills, before returning to the festival site to enjoy all the entertainment and inspiration it has to offer.

What's new about the Salomon Festival this year?
New for 2022, this year's festival is being organised "by Love Trails". Love Trails is a collective of trail running and music festival pioneers, adventure seekers and expert party starters and curators. Founders of Love Trails Festival, the Love Trails crew are bringing their signature festival energy and vibe to this year's Salomon Festival. Also new for 2022, we are introducing three professionally organised trail races & two hiking challenges, all taking place on the morning of Saturday 10th September. This year, you can also expect: hot showers, overnight camping, more DJ sets and music festival vibes, and an elevated wellness programme running alongside all the talks, workshops and a carefully curated food & drinks experience.

The closest train station to the festival site is Tring railway station on the West Coast Main Line, connected to London Euston direct in 39mins.
